​​​Microdentistry​​ is a term used to describe the removal of only the decayed/infected portion of the tooth.  Our office uses the Waterlase dental laser which allows me to treat both tooth decay/infection.  I find that many patients can actually have their treatment performed with little to no local anesthetic, which translates into no more numb lips or tongue and you can actually eat a meal right after your dental appointment.  Thorough the use of microdentistry techniques and technology much more of your natural tooth is saved, often times putting off the need for crowns or even root canal treatments.
